AAMUP LLC // Effective August 23, 2026
90-Day Service Workmanship Warranty.
This limited warranty applies to covered workmanship performed by AAMUP LLC and documented as completed service.
1. Warranty period
Covered AAMUP workmanship is warranted for 90 calendar days beginning on the documented completion date of the applicable service.
2. Diagnostic-only fixes
If AAMUP fully resolves the reported issue during diagnostics without replacement parts or separately approved additional repair labor, and the work is documented as a completed diagnostic-only resolution, the specific corrective workmanship performed during that diagnostic is covered by this 90-day workmanship warranty.
3. What is covered
The warranty covers a failure of AAMUP's documented workmanship on the same device and the same serviced issue during the warranty period. If AAMUP determines the reported warranty concern is caused by covered workmanship, AAMUP's primary remedy is to re-perform the covered service without an additional labor charge.
4. Parts
Replacement parts are not automatically covered by this workmanship warranty unless AAMUP specifically states otherwise in writing. Manufacturer, distributor, or supplier warranty terms may apply to a part separately. Any replacement-part cost associated with a warranty claim will be explained before chargeable work proceeds.
5. What is not covered
- New physical, liquid, electrical, impact, heat, or environmental damage occurring after service.
- Failures unrelated to the work AAMUP performed.
- Malware, reinfection, compromised accounts, phishing, or later software changes outside AAMUP's control.
- Operating-system, application, firmware, carrier, cloud-service, or manufacturer changes made after service.
- Work, modification, disassembly, or repair performed by another person or provider after AAMUP service when it affects the claimed issue.
- Data loss, corruption, inaccessible data, or failure of a storage device unless a specific written service commitment says otherwise.
- Cosmetic condition, normal wear, batteries or consumables unless specifically included in the documented service scope.
- Pre-existing, intermittent, concealed, or unrelated defects that were not caused by AAMUP workmanship.
6. How to request warranty service
Contact AAMUP as soon as reasonably possible during the 90-day period. Call 503-482-8283 or email david@aamup.org. Provide the device, approximate service date, and the symptom you believe relates to the prior work. AAMUP may need to inspect or reproduce the issue before determining warranty coverage.
7. Limits and consumer rights
This warranty is a limited workmanship warranty, not a guarantee that the device will remain free from every future failure. Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
